North Dade Dolphins Parent Code of Conduct

As a proud representative of the North Dade Dolphins and as a role model for my child, I recognize and accept my responsibility to uphold the highest standards of conduct. I pledge to follow this Parent Code of Ethics:

Parent Code of Conduct

I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in youth sports by following this code of conduct:

• I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive behavior toward all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice, and event.

• I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my child above any personal desire to win.

• I will insist on a safe and healthy environment for all participants.

• I will support the coaches and officials who work with my child, understanding they are responsible for creating a positive and enjoyable experience.

• I will demand a drug-free, alcohol-free, and tobacco-free environment at all youth sports events and will personally refrain from their use.

• I will remember that youth sports are for the children—not for the adults.

• I will do my best to make youth sports fun and uplifting for my child and their teammates.

• I will teach my child to treat teammates, opponents, coaches, fans, and officials with respect regardless of race, gender, religion, or ability.

• I will address any concerns privately with my child’s coach, never publicly or during emotional moments.

• I will support my child’s participation by being a respectful fan, providing transportation, volunteering when possible, and helping create a positive team environment.
